There are not direct flights between USA, Asia or Europe to the Galapagos Islands. To visit the Islands you need to first flight to Quito or Guayaquil international airports. After spending the night over Quito or Guayaquil you can take any of the two airlines that fly to the Galapagos islands airports (Baltra, San Cristobal), AEROGAL and TAME.
Galapagos is a province of Ecuador, this natural paradise have a population of around 19,000. The capital is Puerto Baquerizo Moreno on San Cristobal Island, although the largest town is Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz. Puerto Ayora have an airport setted in Baltra Island, just 30 minutes by car. Baltra and Santa Cruz are separated by the Itabaca Channel.

First of all, the GALAPAGOS NATIONAL PARK collects $100 usd tax upon arrival at Galápagos.
You can departure from Quito and Guayaquil (The Cost is almost the same price).
